86 officials promoted to joint secretary
In a major decision, the Awami League (AL)-led grand alliance government today (Thursday) promoted 86 deputy secretaries to the rank of joint secretary.
The mid-level civil servants have been attached with the Ministry of Establishment as officer on special duty (OSD). They will get new posting soon, said a senior official of the ministry.
He said the latest decision was part of the new government’s ongoing reshuffle move in the civil administration. “More changes are in the offing,” added the officer.
